Our Fourth Annual Food Drive is Happening Saturday June 11

The ONEchurch annual food drive is a mosaic of different churches holding food drives in their section of Brantford in coordination with each other. Each church covers its zone with volunteers from all walks of life so that together we can have a greater impact and feed more of our neighbours. Everyone is welcome, anyone can participate.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we have made significant changes to the way this years food drive will work. We are complying with all government social distancing directives and we are taking additional steps to prepare and equip volunteers to hold a safe, fun, and effective food drive.

To sign up, choose the church you would like to volunteer with. You can see which zone each church is covering on the map below. Once you've chosen a church you can select your church from the list and sign up through their page.

ONEchurch Brantford Food Drive in a Nutshell

The 2022 ONEChurch Brantford Food Drive will take place on June 11. The Brant County Health Unit have been consulted to ensure this years drive complies with all government mandated safety measures.

Volunteers will pick up their flyer kits via curbside pickup, details will vary from church to church. Flyers are dropped off between June 3 and June 9 at the doors along each route but there is to be no door knocking.

On pick up day (June 11) volunteers will stay in their car and get their kits one by one at the church through their car window. The residents who wish to donate will leave their food donations on their front step as instructed by the flyer. Food will be collected by volunteers from the front steps only if it is left out. But again, there is to be no door knocking.

We will have "Thank you" and "We've Come and Gone" flyers to be left on the food pick-up day.

Food will be boxed by each team, at their vehicle, before they return to their church. A designated team with appropriate PPE will weigh and stack their food.

The food will be quarantined to ensure it is safe to distribute.

Further instructions will be sent by email as needed.

…“Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.” – Luke 3:11
